現任理事長 楊浩然
我們生活在一個多元文化交織、彼此需要相互理解與支持的時代。作為GICA(Global Indonesia Care Association)理事長,我深深相信,每一位移工、每一位志工、每一份善意,都是推動社會進步與溫暖的力量。

Founder and First President: Dr. Timothy Fu
Dr. Fu, who came to Taiwan to study at the age of 17, experienced the difficulties of not speaking a word of Mandarin and having to work various jobs to support herself when she first arrived in Taiwan. With her empathy as someone who has been through such challenges, she has been dedicated to helping and caring for Indonesian students and migrant workers in Taiwan.
Second President: Ms. Wang Zuojun
Having lived in the United States when she was younger, Ms. Wang developed a deep love for music and the arts. More importantly, she cultivated a heart full of compassion for others. Understanding the difficulties of living in a foreign land, she decided to return to Taiwan. Over the years, she has accompanied Indonesian sisters (caregivers) in Taiwan, listened to their stories, and organized Indonesian-related festive events, making them feel loved and supported. She also hopes that Taiwan will be an island with a rich diversity of cultures.

Executive Director: Ms. Sandy Li
For the many Indonesian migrant workers who leave their homeland, they work in Taiwan for 3 to 14 years, contributing their physical strength, labor, and the most precious years of their youth. They have worked diligently and quietly in communities, households, factories, and various fields. Yet, due to language barriers, time constraints, and the lack of platforms, they have become a relatively vulnerable group in Taiwan. However, the enthusiasm, simplicity, and innate talents of the island's indigenous people should not be overlooked merely because of their work roles. With this in mind, our association (GICA) aims to meet the communication needs of Indonesian migrant workers, as well as their needs for cultural care and support in Taiwan. Through audiovisual and self-media communication, we strive to eliminate societal stereotypes about migrant workers' cultures, reduce the cultural impact between Taiwan and Indonesia, correct public perceptions, and promote a more diverse, inclusive, and respectful society in Taiwan.
